Adult Choir

The Adult Choir sings for the 10:30am Mass two Sundays a month, as well as for special celebrations such as Christmas and Holy Week. Rehearsals are every other Wednesday from 7:00pm until 9:00pm and are held in the church.

Instrumentalists

Instrumentalists play for Masses occasionally. Rehearsals are arranged with Santiago Fernández.

Cantors

Contact Santiago Fernández if you are interested in serving as cantor. Rehearsals are scheduled one-on-one.

Lectors

Lectors (readers) proclaim the Word of God to the gathered assembly at weekend and holy day Masses and on other special occasions.  Readers are encouraged to continually meditate on Sacred Scripture so that their faithful proclamation of the readings at Mass will in turn inspire the faithful to turn to God through his word. Mass preferences are honored; formation is required. 

Commitment: Frequency TBD. 
 

Sacristans

The Sacristan is entrusted with the task of preparing the Sanctuary and Church for Mass celebration. This is for weekend masses and Holy Day Masses. Training and procedure guide will be provided.

Commitment: Once or twice a month at Mass time preference.

The EME assists the priest at Mass in the distribution of the Eucharist at weekend Masses and special events (such as Confirmation, First Communion, and so on).  Training is available. 

Commitment: When needed at the Mass you attend.

What does an usher do?

• We assist attendees in finding a seat prior to, and during, Mass.
• We assist those who require physical assistance.
• We collect and secure the offering.
• We invite attendees to communion.
• We hand out the bulletins after Mass.
• We make sure the worship space is ready for the next Mass.
• We also are prepared to help out in any way we can with details of the day's service.
• We keep a watch for anyone in distress and summon help if required.

Who can usher?

• Anyone over 8 years old.
• Families make great crews.
• No experience is required.
