Adult Formation and Family Life Commission
Purpose:
The primary purpose of this commission is
the faith formation of its members and the
continued formation of our parish family.
Goals:
The goals of this commission are:
- Adult Formation:
- Invite and enable ongoing conversion to Jesus in holiness of life.
- Promote and support active membership in the Christian Community.
- Call and prepare adults to act as disciples in mission to the world.
- Family Life:
- To strengthen the family’s awareness and appreciation of its status as the most Basic Christian Community, “the Domestic Church.”
- To be aware of and respond to the needs of various forms of family, such as Single person, Parents (dual or single), Families in Crisis, etc.
- To support efforts and programs which enhance family life.
- To assist families to live out the Christian call to ongoing conversion, active Participation in the Christian Community and service to the larger human community.
- To support and assist in formal religious formation programs for children, youth and adults.

Membership:
Commission is made up of members and/or representatives of the subcommittees and open to all members of the parish. There is an intention to regularly invite other parishioners to join for one or more of the meetings.
Meetings:
The commission will meet twice a year for formation and planning/evaluation. Subcommittees will meet as needed.
